  Hi there,
  WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.

  But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  IMPORTANT NOTE:
  Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.

  Also, when you create a new account you cannot use the username associated with this account, even if you remove/change the username of this account. Although you can use the email address, if you change the email address associated with this account.

  Give multiple thoughts before performing any actions.
