Want to delete old blog, but is redirecting to new blog

  I have created a new blog on wordpress.org – I logged in to wordpress.com to delete old version of blog. WordPress.com gives me the control panel for the old blog, but directs me to the new blog. I just want to be sure that I really am deleting the old blog (as I can’t find it).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m seeing http://breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com/ and http://outsidetheboxparentingdotcom.wordpress.com/ as your WordPress.com sites.

  Which one are you trying to delete?

  breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com – I just want to be sure I’m deleting this blog and not affecting the new one where it is redirecting too at cleftlipanpalatebreastfeeding.com.
  Once the dashboard is deleted, the blog is gone, I assume?

  So here is the situation, the blog can be deleted. But it cannot be easily deleted while still redirecting people from breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com to cleftlipanpalatebreastfeeding.com. If you do not feel like there will be any traffic to breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com, then this may not be a concern.

  Also keep in mind that because you are redirecting people to cleftlipanpalatebreastfeeding.com, there isn’t really any way for a reader to actually see breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com. Any time they try to view a breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com URL, they will be redirected to your new site.

  Thanks for your reply.

  I have deleted the dashboard for the breastfeedingc.p.wordpress.com – I’m assuming that there is no other way for anyone to access that blog now? It doesn’t appear in ‘my blogs’ anymore.

  I don’t want anyone to find an out-of-date site.

  I am not seeing breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com as being deleted. In order to delete it completely, you will need to cancel the Domain Mapping upgrade that is forwarding traffic from breastfeedingclp.wordpress.com to cleftlipanpalatebreastfeeding.com and follow the instructions here:
