Want to delete old blogs

Add topic to favorites
I can’t believe the only option for this is to post my information publicly and wait for a staff person to address this.

I have about 8 blogs which I need removed from my account as they were self-hosted blogs which I used the JetPack plugin with.

Is there another process to have these removed?

Provided you post the URLs of self hosted blogs you want deleted from your account into a forum thread like this one, Staff can do this for you. Please do that now as I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Perhaps it is easiest if I request that ALL linked blogs be removed. Then I can re-add the one that I want.

They take as long as it takes for Staff to answer all the threads tagged for their attention that have date stamps and times stamps earlier than the ones in this thread. (Usually 1 day.)

There are still 2 sites in my account: Allegrativity and MakingOnlineSimple.

Hi,

Those two accounts were both re-added about five hours ago. If the sites are still using Jetpack, they need to be connect to a WordPress.com account, so if they’re using your account, they’ll continue to (re)appear in your account.

You can disconnect them via the Jetpack menu in the Dashboard of those sites and connect them using a different account.

If you still want those two sites removed, please let me know and I’ll remove them again for you.

I’ve removed them from your account again. If they re-appear, we can take the conversation off of the public forums to determine who/what could be re-adding them (does CopyBlogger/Flywheel have some type of process, etc).

@AllegraSinclair Do you happen to have the WordPress mobile app on one of your mobile devices (phone or tablet)? If so, do you or did you ever have your site linked through the mobile app?

It might be worth trying to remove the site from the Mobile app. Once you’ve done so, we can try to remove the site from your WordPress.com account once again.

Is there a WordPress.com specific app or do you mean the ‘regular’ WordPress app? If it’s the latter, I do have that on my iPad and iPhone but I will remove them now.
