Want to delete old WP blog but don't know login

I have a very old WP blog that I want to delete, but when I logged in to my WP account, there was no blog associated with it. How do I access this blog to delete it if I don’t know what the username or password is? Here is the URL to the blog I want to delete: https://renaissancecafe.wordpress.com/

Hi there. Without either the username or the email address you used to create that blog there’s not much that can be done. If you have one of those, you can try to regain access by submitting the Account Recovery Form. Staff will then contact you via email to assist you further. http://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
You could try leaving a comment and then see if an email address you own gets a notification for that comment. Of course, if you no longer have access to that email, or you had comment notifications disabled on that blog, that won’t work.

The username and password that supposedly go with that blog log me in just fine, but the blog does not show up in the account once I’m logged in. I’ll try the account recovery form, thanks for the tip!

Where are you looking for that blog? If it has been set to hidden it won’t appear on the My Sites screen in the Reader, only the My Blogs screen in the dashboard.
Try the direct link to the dashboard while logged in to that account and see if you can access it that way: https://renaissancecafe.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ If that doesn’t work then that blog is probably in a different account.

Hmm, I can’t use account recovery because I don’t have any of the required proof of ownership. I created the account in 2009 and PayPal receipts aren’t accessible prior to 2011. When I click on the link you just provided, while logged in to this account, I get an error. That tells me I must have a second account, which means I have no idea what the email and password are.

I suggest trying the password reset option (also in the support doc linked above) with any other email you own that might have been used to create that account. Don’t have any other ideas beyond that, I’m afraid.

Already tried that, which is how I discovered the second account (this one). Thanks for trying…

Fill in the account recovery form, even if you don’t have proof of ownership. Just try to give as much information as you can and then you can discuss the matter further with staff when they reply to you via email. I can’t guarantee it will work, but it’s worth a try.
