I am unable to disable to auto renew. [ I wish to delete one of my websites. There is no button for disable auto renew on my screen. I went to the “Tool” button and clicked “Delete this Site.” It gave me the instructions: “Warning: you cannot delete this site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager.] Following the customer support instructions found online, I navigated to “My Upgrades” as in search of the “Disable Auto-Renew” link. It isn’t there. I see the name of the domain. Underneath it it says “learn More” and “Domain Settings.” Then it says “DNS is correct” “Enable Auto Renew” (I clicked on that in hopes that I would find the disable the auto renew button, but it isn’t there), “Cancel Private Registration”, “Cancellation Info” and finally “Transfer to another site”. The billing cycle ends July 27, and I really don’t want to pay for a site I’m not using. Can someone tell my how to disable auto renew and delete the site? Thanks.

The credit card for idealwoodstock.com has expired, so it is not actually able to be set to auto-renew anyway! If you would like, I can cancel the domain for you, which would allow you to delete the site. If you’re OK with that, just let me know the full domain name you want me to delete (for verification’s sake), and I will take care of it.

That would be great. (They keep sending emails saying I may be charged an extra fee, blah blah blah.) The domain name is http://www.idealwoodstock.com. I created it under a different user name, woodstockhaven39. Let me know if I need to log on through that portal to cancel (to verify who I am.) Thank you!

Wait. I’m wrong. I created it under this account after all. From looking at my domain names, looks like it’s just idealwoodstock.com.

Yep, if it had been with another account I would have needed you to log in there, but since it was in this one, we’re all set! I went ahead and cancelled that domain out and you should only get one more email notifying you of the cancellation.
