Want to delete theme without selecting another theme.

I am just learning wordpress.com and accidentally applied Modern Business theme? I want it removed but do not want any other theme. How do I remove the Modern Business theme without having to select any other theme? Thank You.

Hi @lydiaearl, your site actually has to have some kind of theme selected — it won’t work at all without one. You’re welcome to choose another one though. Perhaps one of these?

Or, you’re welcome to stick with the theme you have until you’ve added more content. Sometimes it’s easier to “try on” other themes after your site is fleshed out a bit.

If you want to Delete a Theme Without Selecting another theme. Please follow the Steps below:
1. Connect your Hosting FTP Account.
2. Go to the Root of your Domain.
3. wp-contentthemesyourthemeand Delete “yourtheme”, So, if you Delete any theme Using FTP through Back End then It won’t get another theme automatically and your intended theme will be Removed!

Oops, wrong forum for your solution to work. Your experience was with the WordPress.org version of the WordPress software. As you probably know, the 2 versions are quite different.
