Want to do backdated posts without my followers receiving emails?

  Hi all

  probably a strange request but here goes. Since becoming addicted to our travel Blog I decided to back date our earlier travels that were previously recorded in a diary.

  Have found that I can change the posting date to that applicable of the diary entry but it seems any followers still get email notice of a new post.

  I have typed up 50 odd posts and want to add these to the blog without followers being notified with 50 emails- is this possible?

  All you can do is set the blog visibility to private.

  Are you clear on what changing the datestamps does? Changing the datestamp breaks every link in search engine caches such as Google’s and Bing’s caches. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/
