Want to download my wordpress website which i made

    I was connecting my website to shopify but shopify is showing me its default theme currently so i wanted to replace it with my build website in wordpress named ‘thesalekart.com’, i need to download the theme file from wordpress so that i can upload it in shopify, but in wordpress its directly taking me to the shopify store t=rather then my build website.
    kindly help me in downloading the zip file for my orignal website.

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    Hi there:

    To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    A quick Google search shows that a WordPress theme would not work on a Shopify store because they use two different programming languages. You may want to reach out to Shopify support to see if they have any tools that can help convert your existing site to their platform.

    If you still need to download your theme, you would need to reach out to your host Hostinger for help. Since they host your site, they also have access to your site’s files and can better help you with this.
