want to find comment counts

basically i have a page that lists a number of blog posts
i want to display next to the post, the number of comments for that post
is this possible?
btw, the page in question is http://www.rochester.edu/ITS/web/blog/ieee/?page_id=59 so you can see what I am talking about

If you’re trying to do it to that page that you’re pointing at, you’re in teh wrong place I’m afraid. You need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the website for support of the software. This is the support forums for those blogs hosted here at wp.com.
If you’re talking about a blog hosted here at wp.com, it;s not possible as you would have to add in php code and we can’t do that here for security reasons.
