Want to give one person read/write access to one blg entry.

I have a blog. (No kidding)!
It has several blog posts on it. (None of them interesting so don’t go there).
For one of those blog posts i want to give one particular person read & write access just to that blog post. So that both she and i can update it (collaborate on it). She is a WordPress user.
We don’t want to use the password option because that would alert everyone to the fact that it’s there and i’d have to start refusing password requests.
And if we use the Private option, then i have to make her an Editor which means she could edit anything she chooses. And whilst i trust her, she doesn’t really want that responsibility.
So, my question is … is there any way, to allow one person to add to and edit one particular blog post entry without letting everyone else know of its existence and without giving her access to edit everything?

Why don’t you do this collaborating by email and when the post is ready to publish you can post it on the blog? That way it can all be done privately without your readers knowing about it.

Ahhh .. I see. Well, then it sounds like it would be better done by getting a wiki on the internet and linking to it from your blog. Because as TSP stated above there is no ability to to limit access to just one post on a free hosted wordpress.com blog.

What if you make them an Author?
Change the Post Author to the other person and they they should be able to edit only the Posts that they are Author on.

Never tried this work around but seems it should work.
