Want to hide lots of individual pages from menu bar
-
Okay so I am a visual artist in the process of getting a grasp on wordpress.com. My blog is maxwellhanson.wordpress.com
I’ve been stuck for about a week and a half trying to figure out how I can make individual pages for each piece of art I have for sale. I want the pages to include a full width image of the piece and have some room for a buy now button with some details about it, etc.
Buy my problem is that I’ve created a custom menu and I want to have all these pages without flooding the menu bar and potential customer’s visual interface with each and every single page for the individual pieces. I want to have these pages available under my “for sale” tab without showing up in the menu upon clicking on the “for sale” tab.
Any help I could receive for this would be greatly appreciated.

Your site looks great. Have you tried the portfolio functionality?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/The Edin theme has a grid page format, which sounds like it would give you something similar to what you have described.

Ah, I have gotten quite attached to this 2014 theme…do you think there is any way I can do it with this theme?

Or…does anyone know if there’s a way to make it so that the image is displayed full width/length on the page? For instance on this page http://maxwellhanson.wordpress.com/for-sale/paintings/ …The first image I would like to be wider because at it’s current size it doesn’t do the piece enough justice. It wouldn’t let me enlarge the photo past a certain size after editing it in the editor using a full width page template.
I’m not sure what to do but an alternative to having a bunch of individual pages could be to list them all on one page but if that’s the case I’d like to have full size (perhaps not full res or dpi) display of images. -

Create a custom menu.

Add only the static Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages and other items that you want to display in it. -

I answered only the question in the thread title. I will leave it to another Volunteers to assist you with your other issue. -
You can always put it in at the size your theme will display it and then link the image to the file, which is full-size no matter what size the theme compresses it to.
The only alternative I see is buying the Custom Design upgrade and customizing the theme via CSS coding.
