Want to install Divi theme

    Sorry if this is a stupid question. I haven’t built a wordpress site in 5 years and it seems to have changed?

    I want to upload a them I have purchased and wordpress won’t allow me to unless I pay a yearly fee. Is that the only way to change you theme now?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If you are wanting to have your site Hosted here on WordPress.com, and then want to upload a custom theme not already offered in the Theme gallery you would need to purchase the Business Plan to do so. Here is a link to explain more about the Business Plan and uploading custom themes: https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/

    The Divi theme is a WordPress.ord theme but it is not one of the themes offered by WordPress.com, so it will require the Business Plan as I had mentioned to upload it.

    Make sure you know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Sites that are managed by WordPress.com are considered ‘hosted’ while sites managed by a different host are considered ‘self-hosted.’

    A WordPress.com Business plan is a great cross-section between hosted and self-hosted, offering many of the 3rd party plugins and themes found on WordPress.org, but also with the benefits and support found at WordPress.com.
