Want to make PAGE text sticky on page that posts publish to
-
So i have a page titled “News”. To that page is where all of my posts get published to. Now when you edit the page itself, there is of course the body where you can type things into. I typed stuff in there expecting it to appear on the page, but instead only the posts are showing up.
I’d like to somehow have that text appear sticky at the top of the page while the posts then appear below it when I publish them.

I’m afraid that’s not possible. The posts page and category pages display your blog’s feed and you can’t add any static content to it. A possible workaround is to put that content into a post and set the post as sticky, then it should always appear at the top.

You could use shortcodes on a normal page so you could have a paragraph followed by the titles of your articles. Try this code on a page you didn’t set as your blog page :
[display-posts posts_per_page="10" order="ASC"]Hope this helps !
