Want to move domain from another host to WordPress.com
-
I had a WordPress site hosted elsewhere. I wasn’t happy with the themes available through that host and, preferring the themes available through my current WordPress.com account, want to add the domain here and host it on WordPress.com. I cancelled the original hosting account. When I try to add the domain as a new WordPress account I get an error saying it already exists. I’ve tried changing the DNS info with the domain service provider to WordPress’s name servers. But how do I actually create the hosting on WordPress?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Primary Blog is Set
the8thacorn.com is set as the primary domain for the8thacorn.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site. -
The blog in question is reinventingkim.com I finally figured out how to add it to the8thacorn account as the primary domain. But all it did was replace the8thacorn. I can’t figure out how to actually get reinventingkim.wordpress.com active.

@kethridge88 can you create the site using a different wordpress.com address? reinventingkim.wordpress.com is taken, but you could use something like this:
reallyreinventingkim.wordpress.comThen go here: https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades and move the domain to that new site you’ve made.
