Want to Move From GoDaddy to WordPress Premium

    Hello guys.

In the coming months, I’d love to switch from GoDaddy to WordPress premium, but I’m not seeing if it is possible for me to do that. Please help me where this is concerned.

    Thank you.

    You mean WordPress?

WordPress Premium usually refers to themes and plugins. You can use WordPress on your GoDaddy domain. That’s what I’m doing ^^

To begin a blog on a GoDaddy hosting, go to your website’s cpanel. So thewebgraffiti.com/cpanel

Under applications, look for the WordPress app. Install it, and set the basic settings so that you have a desired user and password for your admin account. Don’t forget to set the webmaster’s email to the admin email box as well.

Once it has been installed, you should now be able to visit your admin dashboard under yoursite.com/wp-admin, so thewebgraffiti.com/wp-admin.

    Hope this helps!

Uh, to actually answer the question correctly…yes you can change.

You register a blog here, you Import your old blog’s contents to it, choose a theme, tweak the widgets and the header if you want, then you use the Domain Mapping upgrade to connect your custom domain to the WP.com blog. That way you keep incoming links, SEO, and google rank.

Actually, once you’ve registered the blog here you buy the upgrade bundle. Do all the customization of theme before you do the domain mapping, but AFTER you’ve imported the contents. Once it looks right, then do the domain mapping.
