Want to move mapped domain to another blog

    Hi. I have a domain that I mapped to a wordpress site that I have since deleted (today). I want to map it to my current blog but can’t as WordPress is telling me that it is already mapped. How can I map it to my current site? Do I have to wait a certain amount of time for the deleted site to be recognized? Thanks.

    Hi,

    I couldn’t find any domain mapping on your account. Are you working on a different WordPress.com account than the one you’re posting this request from?

    If you deleted a WordPress.com site without canceling the domain mapping first, we’ll need to cancel the mapping manually or move it to an active site ourselves. If you have a different WordPress.com account where you did the domain mapping, please reply to this thread from that account and we’ll be happy to do it for you.
