Want to move my blog from my current host

My current blog host has destroyed my wordpress blog. I downloaded all of my content and am hoping to be able to upload it to a new provider, then move my domain name too. How do I do this. I’m really a mess over it. Thank you.

You can also map your domain to WordPress.com. You’ll need to get the Premium upgrade first and then follow the instructions here:

Thank you! I did get all of my content moved to my wordpress site. It needs some formatting help but I am so extremely grateful the content is there!!!
Next question. I have a URL that has been mine for a decade and all of my advertising points to it. How can I move it from my current host to WordPress without losing it? I hope this is possible. I don’t mind moving to a professional account with WordPress. Thank you.

Yes, you can definitely map a domain you’ve registered elsewhere to a site here at WordPress.com.
You’ll need to get the Premium upgrade and then follow the instructions here to map the domain:
