Want to move my domain www.fromthestoop.com to wordpress

  Hi, I want to register another domain I own with wordpress. I also want it hosted by wordpress. In other words I don’t want my website to be hosted anywhere else or registered anywhere else. I want it all done here. Apologies, but I’m not sure that the domain mapping suggestions you are offering do this. Do they?

  The Name of my site is http://www.fromthestoop.com . I would like this website to be 100% on wordpress.com. How do I go about doing that?

  We can’t accept incoming domain transfers, but you can map your existing domain to a WordPress.com blog following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  Will wordpress.com, one day, accept incoming domain transfers? Also, will mapping fromthestoop.com to wordpress.com adversely affect the responsiveness of my site? Thanks for your help.

  It is possible that we may accept incoming transfers some day, but it’s not on the roadmap right now.

  There may be an extra quarter to half second load while the domain resolves, but that really depends on your ISP’s DNS servers.
