I want to put ads on my blog. Currently I am using the free wordpress account, and I want to upgrade my account. Can anyone please tell me that which package should I purchase or which package will be best as I am getting confuse with the package list of wordpress.

I believe you must have a specific number of daily visitors before you are invited to participate in the monetization program for WordPress.com. For more details on the paid features, see Bundles | WordPress.com Store.

There is no upgrade that will allow you to run your own ads on your WordPress.com site. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
As Lorelle said, WordPress.com does offer WordAds, which is an ad revenue sharing program. There’s more information at the Support doc linked above.

@justjennifer : yeah i know this thing that blogger can’t put there own ads. I am asking for the packages of WordPress, that for which package should I go with, bundle package will be good or not. As I don’t want premium themes and extra storage space.

Given what you said above, I thought that was what you were asking about. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
As far as what upgrades, I think that depends on what you want to do with your site.
There are various upgrades available (see the link that Lorelle provided), and the Premium Bundle puts together the most popular options, but you don’t need to grab the Bundle if all you want is to remove the ads that WordPress.com runs on your site.

All you actually need to qualify to be considered for ads is a custom domain and mapping. But it’s no guarantee you’ll be accepted into the program.
