Want to reignite a dead blog
-
Hi,
We had a WordPress blog but we were advised by our web developer to drop it and host on our website. Now we have learned that Spotify, which we use to load the blog, has a terrible interface and look and would like to build back our original blog. We scraped the whole thing off to avoid duplicate content so it only exists as a redirect now. Is this possible to do or do we need to start from scratch? If this is possible, how do we go about it?Thanks,
ShannonThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We had a WordPress blog
What is the URL?
Did you delete the site? There are multiple warnings that deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com). https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
