Want to remove one of the columns on the right of Basic Maths template

    I am very new to this, just bought a template (Basic Maths) which I like.
    However there currently are two columns (displayed on the right hand side e.g. recent posts and below it recent comments, Archives etc.) which all hosts similar data. I would wish to remove one of these columns and give the general blog content more space (i.e make it wider or shifted towards the centre of the page
