want to see unique visitors

  I wonder if it’s possible to see how many unique visitors I have, even though I don’t use the wordpress.org softwere? Is there anything I can do or do I have to have a self-hosted blog to do so?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s not possible as those stats are not available to us > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
  There is no non-Javacript counter we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs that can record stats on every page in the blog as we cannot edit templates and include any code in them.

  Quantcast is built in and will does unique visitors – sometimes you need to ask Quantcast to Quantify your blog they seem to miss some WordPress.COM sites of recent.

  Flag Counter and Site Meter will also show unique visitors.

  But be aware that for various reasons none of the counters agree with each other and your WordPress.COM stats.

  You also as noted above need to use the plain html versions – the above will give totals for your site but not unique visitors on each page
