want to start over on my site

    Good Morning , I started my new blog last month I started setting it up in June, I was following a tutorial on youtube which was very helpful but somewhere I made some mistakes in setting it up , I added a lot of profeatures that I am not quite ready for yet, the tutorial had simple instrutions and most of the add ons were free or just a nominal fee..I now had Hostgator charging me monthly and Sumopro charging me monthly .so I want to know if there is a way to ‘Start over’ delete all those features and ‘re do’ my page thank you

    I have 2 wordpress Blogs the one I need help with is my new one started on June 28th went live in July , it is
    http://www.ljsevents.net yes I do have it with wordpress, also I’m using Hostgator and Sumome but I just want to see how I can stay with my domain name and just start over because I feel like I missed a step somewhere on the on line tutorial and added way too many things..

    Hi @mommygram, no worries. I’ll bet Hostgator can help with restarting your installation if you’ll get in touch with them. Or you could use the tips at wordpress.org to remove what you don’t want.

    To clarify though, WordPress.org is free software. That’s what you’re using at Hostgator.

    WordPress.com is a service, so if you weren’t using Hostgator, for example, you could have your site hosted here.

    They are both WordPress, but these forums are for the sites that are hosted here on our servers. You can find community support at WordPress.org/suppor though, if you’d like! Your host may be able to recommend some resources as well. Or you’d be welcome to move your site here so we can help you a bit more — let us know if you need help with that.
