  I did something, but foolishly without looking at what that entails, it has messed my blog up.

  I did not read what adding a Contributer would do how it would affect my blog. It has gone awry. Help.

  What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site your are referring to?

  Be aware that deleting a URL is intended to be a permanent act and that is why warnings are given that one has to ignore to delete a site.

  Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Know that it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you purchase an upgrade http://wordpress.com/pricing that will provide domain mapping.

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking, and how did adding a contributor mess things up? A Contributor-level user cannot make changes to your site. They can create draft posts and that’s it – they can’t even publish without help from an admin or an editor. The only user roles that could potentially mess up your site are those two, as editors can change or delete any content on the site, and admins can delete the site itself.

  I checked both sites in your account, httpadnama72.wordpress.com and secretgarden19.wordpress.com. You are the only user on either of them, and I see no evidence that you’ve ever invited another contributor to either site.

  The site you indicated in your original post, adnama72.wordpress.com, does not exist, as you have deleted that site about 20 minutes after creating this thread. As the warning said on the delete site page, deleting a site is permanent and cannot be reversed.
