want to transfer an existing domain name to WordPress

  Howdy-

  Right now I have a domain, http://www.markwingalls.com, in the process of expiring with register.com. I have grown to appreciate wordpress and want to support it with whatever meager finances i can manage, so I was hoping to move the domain name to wordpress and pay them the money instead of register.

  Is that sensible?

  Is it possible?

  How; can you tell me?

  WordPress.com is currently not accepting incoming domain transfers. But you can purchase a domain mapping upgrade and map to an existing domain from a WordPress.com blog.
