Want to unlock themes and install plugins

Hey Hi
WordPress.com Team, I’m completely new to blogging and recently started my journey with free hosting and domain with wordpress.
Now I want to install some plugins and use premium themes, so I decided to purchase a domain from wordpress itself, but after reading some answers here I relieased I need to upgrade my plan, so I’m thinking about purchasing business plan (For monthly), am I right till now?
Now my question is what happens if I cancel my business plan after one month? Will I loose all my themes and plugins?

Welcome to the WordPress community! You’re correct that to install plugins and use premium themes, you’ll need to upgrade your plan. You can learn more about the available plans and their features here.
Regarding your question about canceling the Business plan after one month: if you downgrade from a plan, you will lose access to premium themes and any plugins you’ve installed. Your site will revert to the features available under the plan you downgrade to.

okay, thankyou for the reply!! But can I go with premium plan instead of business plan and can still use themes and plugins? And also can I put ads on my blog using premium plan (explorer)

To use plugins and upload custom themes, you’ll need the Creator plan (previously called Business).
With the Explorer plan (previously called Premium) you can choose from hundreds of ready-to-go themes. You can also earn money via WordAds on the Explorer plan.
On the Creator plan, which allows you to use custom code and plugins, you’d also be able to use services like Google Adsense.
