Want to use a blog name that has now been deleted but won't allow me?

  When a blog is deleted how long before someone else can use the blog name?

  I spoke to the owner of stormwriter.wordpress.com, and asked if they still wants the blog name, as I wanted it. This person has now deleted the blog, and I wish to take the name but it still shows as taken, how do I get this sorted?

  Hi there!

  Unfortunately, that name can never be taken by anyone, now that the original owner has deleted it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Your options now would be to select a different address, or purchase a domain name such as http://stormwriter.net or http://stormwriter.org (since the .com is taken)
