want to use my domain name

    hi i am new to this and tried to set myself up using my own domain name, which is sail111.com, and i even paid the 13 dollar mapping fee, i thought to map people directly to my site, but instead it is sail111.wordpress.com. can anyone help me? i just want to have the traffic go directly to sail111.com, and not have the wordpress part in the domain name. thanks!

    It does not look like you updated the name servers to point to WordPress.COM – please check with your Registrar on the name server settings

    Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually. In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

    Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet.
