Want to use my language as Kannada (Kn) for my blogging

  Hi Team,
  I have set my language as Kannada (Kn). But, when I write the posts, I could not see it in Kannada. Instead, it is in English. Am I missing something here?
  Quick help appreciated.

  I am writing the Kannada words in English and expecting the WordPress to translate. Is that the right expectation? I will be glad if WordPress allows me to write in Kannada directly. Appreciate if I hear a solution for my translation expected. Thanks.

  Thanks. But, writing in my language is not happening when I set it as Kn (Kannada). If this is not happening, there is no point in providing a WordPress feature to set my own language in user preferences.

  Am I missing something here? Any further help/support highly appreciated.

  Can you tell me what you mean by not happening in Kannada? Are you using a Kannada keyboard? If you are using the keyboard what happens when you type in that language?

  Yes, you are missing something.

  You are writing in English. The blog posts will always be in English if you write in English.

  When you set a language for a blog here, it does not suddenly transform the blogging software into translation software. It just changes the language you see the dashboard commands in, and some aspects of the front page like widget titles.

  I researched and found a way out. I could now able to type in Kannada and see the same in WordPress. The problem resolved.

  I am facing the same problem with wordpress 4.1. I am not able to write anything in kannada. How did you come around it? Can you please share?

  I could get solve this problem by enabling the Kannada language via keyboard settings in Control Panel.
  The otherway is, there are websites which can translated to kannada and you can copy-paste that into your blog text area.
  Try out these. Hope this helps.
