Want to use themes Illustratr or Edin, but something won’t let me

    Do I need a more updated piece of softward or something? When I click on Activate, I get a message that says ‘theme cannot be activated’.

    Hi there!

    We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re not able to access the backend of your site to take a closer look.

    If you’re trying to install the Illustratr or Eden theme from the WordPress.com theme directory – like https://wordpress.com/theme/illustratr – you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and download the theme to install on your self-hosted WordPress installation.
