Add topic to favorites
Just started, picked a theme, it said “just another web site from wordpress” or something to that effect. That ruined the whole idea of a tribute to my mom so I decided to pick another theme. No, I don’t know code. Picked another theme but where is link so I can view the page as others will see it? I am very new to this! Thanks to anyone with time to help me see what this actually looks like. Rachel

I wasn’t clear. The first time I opened my site and I don’t know how I did it, the title I picked was up there really large, beautiful, but the subtitle was chosen for me by I guess the theme originator, and I didn’t want it there, so thought another theme might do the trick. Thanks again, Rachel

Go here > Settings > General and remove the “just another web site from wordpress” tagline and either replace it with one of your own or leave it blank and click “save changes”.

Oh, now I realized how to view the site as others would. Please pardon my stupidity! BUT does anyone know how to get rid of that irritating “just another…..” It is so out of character to what I’m trying to create here. Thanks!

Please read what I posted above > General Settings > Tagline
remove “just another WordPress.com blog”
click “save changes”
