  I purchased a domain through wordpress, now I want to use a particular font. How can I do it. Can I upload a theme of my own?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Omair,

  I purchased a domain through wordpress, now I want to use a particular font.

  Please note that purchasing a domain is not connected with using a particular font. In order to do that, you may need to edit CSS. However, I’m not familiar with Urdu fonts or the particular font that you would like to use. There may be some licensing concerns if you want to use a particular font. What you can do is try out the Custom design upgrade (you can try before purchasing), and post up this question in the CSS Customization forum here:

  Also please note that themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  Thank you. I purchased domain through wordpress and am hosting on it as well. I want to write in Jameel Noori Nastaleeq font. But it doesn’t let me edit css

  You’d have to purchase the Custom Design upgrade as I mentioned in the post above.

  whoops. that means another $30. well I request wordpress that for Urdu Language, they include Jameel Noori Nastaliq font by default. This is the font all Urdu writing/reading community uses.
