want wide screen view

When you view my blog it doesn’t fill out the whole screen. How do you make it wider?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t. There are no themes on WordPress.com that fill up the entire screen, in part because lots of people have different monitor resolution and they would have to scroll left to right to read a blog like that.

If you know CSS well, you can edit a theme like Sandbox and make it as wide as you like, but in order to make the changes apply to your blog, you have to purchase the upgrade.

You need to think about the following when widening a theme since over 40% of internet users are still on 1024 x 768 monitor resolutions, and one of the top ten things people hate most on the web is having to scroll horizontally to see the entire web page.

    Monitor resolutions

    1 — 1024×768 — 40.28%
    2 — 1280×1024 — 16.97%
    3 — 1280×800 — 16.89%
    4 — 1440×900 — 7.71%
    5 — 1680×1050 — 4.28%
    6 — 800×600 — 4.01%

    You are welcome.

One other possibility for you is to use a flexible width theme that will adjust to whatever width a visitor has their browser window set to. That way everyone stays happy.
