Want WordPress Domain Name in Use by Your Company

The domain name I want for my blog is already in use as a template for how to use WordPress but I really wanted it for my own personal use and am not entirely sure why “chickchat.wordpress.com” is being used for instructional purposes and cannot be used by a consumer. Please let me know if there is any way to transfer this domain name to me so I can use it. Right now mine is chicchickchatter.wordpress.com but it would be easier for my users to remember the one you use.

There is no expiration date on blogs unused, reserved or otherwise. Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
