Hi @davidhlyle, if you dispute a payment rather than requesting a refund, it can take quite some time for the case to resolve. We are not able to process a refund while a dispute is active. On top of that, you’ll need to pay chargeback fees.
Can you contact your bank and cancel the dispute so we can refund the account instead?

Hi,
I would like my refund. This is the third msg I have sent. You have told me to delete the complaint dispute with the bank so you could refund it. I need confirmation that is being refunded ASAP or I need to contact the bank and re-dispute it. You only have 3 days to refund until the dispute becomes activated again to protect my money.
The blog I need help with is emilyandalyshahowimissyou.wordpress.com.

Once you cancel a dispute, it can take a little while to show up on our end as cancelled so that we’re able to refund. And once we refund, it can take a few days for that to route back to your account. We don’t have control on how long it takes to route everything. We do have control on when we click “refund” so we would do that as soon as we could.
If you re-dispute within 3 days, you’ll just be back in the dispute process. Re-disputing will not speed anything up.

Can you confirm in writing that you have in fact refunded it so that I do not have dispute to protect the money?

After we click refund, we can send you a receipt of that, sure.
We cannot click refund yet for the reasons mentioned above.
