Wanting to add more pics to my library. Can't find the starter's instruction? Help?

    Hello.
    I still very new to setting up my site. When I attempted to gather pics for my library in the Customization field, I could have sworn that I went through some type of tutorial/guide that not only help me find what pics I wanted, but also assigning them into a box that automatically re-sized it to fit my site’s theme. Could somebody help me out of this confusion…delirium? Thank you to all.
