Wanting to change text on Lodestar

  Hi there, I am wanting to change the site title on my website to be different on every page but when I change on the main customiser it changes every page. I also want to be able to re-position the title on the homepage only and add two stars to it… can anyone advise please? I am very new to CSS and have tried a few things but obv doing something wrong! Any advise much appreciated, Many thanks

  also I ll tag the staff so they can help you in CSS better.

  Also Site title cant be different for the Website , however you can have subtitles for your Pages and Posts . https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  Thank you, I have read through the theme info many times. Its just small things I want to do, like change the title on each page and not have to use the same one as one the homepage, add a star to the text on the title, set up my header so the text is smaller and its all shown on one line and change the layout of the projects page as I don’t want a header on this page. I am so used to using Wix where you can do anything you want easily and so I am getting a bit concerned that its so challenging to do small things on here. I really appreciate you taking a look and hopefully I will hear from support soon. Sam :)

  Do you want to change the appearance of the site title on every page? It’s not possible to have different wording on every page, but you can use CSS to edit the style.

  I also want to be able to re-position the title on the homepage only and add two stars to it…

  Are you referring to ‘Welcome to Grey Star Digital’? Where do you want to reposition the title to?

  Let me know and we’ll go from there!
