Hello,
You can continue to modify the appearance of your site after it has been published. If you go to My Site > WP Admin > Appearance there are a bunch of different sub menus where you can continue to modify you site till you get it just right. A lot of the color modifications can be made in My Site> WP Admin >Appearance > Customize.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello CharliesCheer,
Thanks for your input, but I still have a problem? On ‘My Site’ , I don’t have or show a WP Admin at all?? So I’m still looking at the same problem.

You should be able to access the menus I was talking about by going to this page
https://naisledjb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Then look for the Appearance > Customize That should take you to a window where you can modify the look of your blog.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
