wanting to renew domain

so, I just found out that my domain expired 11 days ago, and I am wanting to renew it, but I won’t get paid for another 2 weeks or so. Can someone tell me how long WordPress.com holds onto a domain before letting it go?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It takes up to around 60 days for a domain name to be deleted, HOWEVER – after a few days the domain registrar will charge an extra fee, and you are around the end of the grace period where you will be charged an extra $ 80.– for domain renewal
If at all possible please renew the domain name for $ 5.– / year so you do not have any extra charge – then worry about the domain mapping when you get paid –

Okay, thanks a lot guys, I just went ahead and renewed anyway..figure I can juggle some bills around til next payday and live. Your help was much appreciated! :D
