Wanting to sign up and pay in USD

  Hi, I want to pay for a premium personal plan but as I’m on holiday in the UK it only gives me payment in GBP even though I’ve put my address etc in the states. I want my default currency in USD, not GBP but see no way to set that. This is tremendously annoying! Please advise.

  Hi there,

  Currency can be changed by staff only. modlook tag has already been added in sidebar for staff assistance.
  Staff will soon get to this thread and resolve the issue for you.

  Currency is set based on your location as reported by your browser when you create your WordPress.com account, not based on any information you provide during the signup process.

  I’ve switched your account currency to USD, so you’ll now see the correct pricing for our plans.
