Wanting to start fresh

  Hi!

  I’m trying to start fresh with the ‘Photos’ theme but for some reason it brings across other themes content and isn’t in the format that of the ‘Photos’ theme.

  How do I go about getting the ‘Photos’ theme?

  Hi! Activating a new theme will apply that theme to your existing content, especially in the case of a classic theme like Photos ( https://wordpress.com/theme/photos ) which is intended to show off your blog posts. Activating a theme won’t automatically switch your site over to match the theme demo, you’d usually need to ensure that the settings match the theme information (linked above).

  Generally for a theme like Photos, you would want to make sure your front page is set to “your latest posts” (you can do this within the Settings > Reading menu of your site management), and you also want to make sure that your blog posts have featured images assigned:

  If you’re needing to empty out your site of the current content, you can absolutely do that:
