Wanting to Transfer From wix.com

    Hello There, to who ever reads this, I have a few questions that i would like to ask before I transfer my blog and brand to the word press.com team.

    1. Do I need rebuild my site from scratch if I transferred from wix.com
    2. once I transferred from wix.com with my own domain. do i need to get a plan as well.

    I am so sorry for the confusing questions. I am just having trouble understanding the guides and information. that is all

    If you run into any trouble with that, let us know and we’ll help you from our side.

    You will need a plan to add a custom domain. If you’re transferring the domain registration, the cost of the transfer (which extends your registration by one year) is included with any annual paid plan. Or you can register a new domain with a plan if you’d like. After that, you’ll renew the domain and plan separately. Here’s our pricing for plans:
