Wanting to upgrade, needing help please! :)

  Hi, I currently have a wordpress website that I created from my original blog. I am wanting to upgrade, using my own .com domain name, which I already have with hostgator, with access to shopping cart etc. I have been told to use wordpress website.org but still using .com, and recommended siteground as a host. I have no idea how to do this, can you possibly help? Thank you so much.

  I would recommend you to visit your host provider’s support. As here the we only provide support for websites hosted on WordPress.COM, you can see the difference between .ORG and .COM here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Also I would like you to check our support link which coulc come handy for you to move your website to your self hosted website: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

  Hey there,

  If you’d like to use a domain registered from some other registrar with your WordPress.com account, you’d need to upgrade your WordPress.com plans. You can view all the plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  What I understand is you want to use your existing blog (samclarkphotography.wordpress.com) and upgrade it to get a custom domain among other things. If this is not what you are looking for and want to host the site with SiteGround, then you should follow what staff-galakate told you :)
