Wanting to use an old domain that I cancelled

  Earlier this year I used the domain name lifeofsarahndipity.com and struggles making my website, so decided to cancel the site. Now months later, in trying to use the site again, but I’m being told I can’t use to the name because it’s already being used- when it isn’t. I want to change my pages name from lifeofsarahndiptysite.wordpress.com to lifeofsarahndipity.wordpress.com

  Dear lifeofsarahndipity,

  My understanding is as follows:

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address.

  If you’re trying to use lifeofsarahndipity.com you should be able to buy it regardless of the base wordpress.com address. You could add it here:
  https://wordpress.com/domains
