Warning: Attempt to read property ‘comment_ID’ messages

    Greetings all.
    I am getting multiple messages of this type in the right menu area of my wordpress site. ‘Warning: Attempt to read property ‘comment_ID’ on null in /home/websiteURL/public_html/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/subscribe-to-comments.php on line 71′
    Any thoughts and insights on how I can address this issue would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi there! You’ve landed on the support forums for websites that are hosted here on WordPress.com; it looks like your site pts4chg.ca uses the free WordPress software from WordPress.org, and is hosted with another platform if I understand correctly? If so, were you intending to post to the WordPress.org forums at this link just below?

    I’m unfortunately unable to check the error you posted about, as your site isn’t hosted on our system here on WordPress.com. It sounds like this might be related to a plugin called ‘subscribe to comments’ though – I might suggest checking in with the plugin creator in particular.

    If you find that specific plugin continues to show error messages, I could suggest our sibling plugin Jetpack, which provides both an alternative comment form and also the option to subscribe to new comments and even new posts on your site.
