Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgra

Hello,
I had once had my domain peterberingart.com hosted on wordpress.com. Now I have moved it to vervehosting. My domains point successfully to vervehosting and it does work about 80% of the time. Unfortunately that other 20%, it’s difficult to explain.Basically, I’ll be working on the wordpress site, updating it and such, when I click update, all of a sudden out of nowhere I’m redirected to this page that says ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. ‘
It’s like out of the blue the old wordpress site takes hold of my old profile and uses it as it’s domain name.
Is this something you’ve seen before and can you please help with it?
Thanks,
Julie -
Hi there,
How long ago did you point over the nameservers to your new host? That warning usually comes up soon after you change nameservers of the domain to elsewhere and the domain is propagating. I do not see any other reason why the domain is pointing back to your WordPress.com site intermittently. I’ve gone to the site several times and have not experienced the redirection.
If it has been under 72 hours, give it sometime. You shouldn’t see it at all after that. If you do, let me know.
Thanks!
