Warning message about 'domain might be suspended.'

Yesterday the person who created our Word Press domain attempted to switch ownership of our site to me (who writes the blog) by submitting new payment info and name change. There is now a red message saying ‘there are issues with our site.’ Supposedly an email was sent telling me how to fix these issues, but I never received any email. I don’t want to lose my domain or site. What do I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Which domain are you having trouble with? Once I know more, I’ll take a look at what has happened.

    Thanks!

    Thanks so much.
We just wanted to change ownership and payment info and all this happened!

    Hi there,

I’ve double checked and the domain has been transferred to your account but the plan is still owned by heelzwin.

It’s best if the plan and domain stay together in one account. If you would like me to move the plan over to your account aswell, I can ask for permission to do so from the owner — would you like me to?

The contact information for the domain needs to be verified. Have you received an ICANN verification email? Sometimes it can end up in your spam folder so it’s worth checking there.

Come back to me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your response. Please do move the plan over to me – Sue Whited.

I have not, nor has heelzwin, received the ICANN email. That was my primary concern because I couldn’t reply to an email I hadn’t received and didn’t want to lose our site.

Please let me know if all is well and you have made the necessary corrections.

Billing should also have been changed from heelzwin to me; from a Mastercard to a Visa.

All further emails should come to suewhited.

    Thank you,

    Sue Whited

    Hi Sue,

Please do move the plan over to me

I’ve contacted heelzwin about moving the plan to you — as they are the purchase owner, I need permission from them to do so :) Once they’ve replied I can sort that out for you.

I have not, nor has heelzwin, received the ICANN email.

I’ve resent the email. heelzwin will need to check the email address they used for the domain contact information.

Billing should also have been changed from heelzwin to me; from a Mastercard to a Visa.

The card details can be updated using the steps in this guide:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/

I’ll let you know when I’ve received a reply about the plan.

    Hi Sue,

Just wanted to give you an update — I’ve now transferred the plan to your account. You can manage it from your Manage Purchases page:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

    Thanks!

    Thank you.

I was able to get into my smallvoicesbook account a few minutes ago and update it. I hope that helped. Are we totally updated now and there is no need to be concerned about the red warning?

    Hi Sue,

I’ve checked your account and everything looks good. The domain is showing as verified too.

If you haven’t done so already, the last thing to do is update your payment details. The good news is I can’t see any warnings in your account :)
