Warning – Phishing

    I got 15 comments to approve via email from WordPress overnight on different posts of mine from 15 different people with the same IP. Odd, misspelled sentences, no profile pic, and all with links at the bottom of the emails under a ‘More Information About’ section. The comments are not in my Manage Notifications section on My Site page. If anyone at WordPress would like to contact me, I can give you more details, but wanted to warn folks not to click these links.

    do not delete those comments, but mark them as spam. Doing so Akismet learns to recognize spam.
