Warning Sign

A blogger tried to access my site. She left her email concerning the problem she has with my site. I copied her message. The first part is her situation followed by the warning sign she gets.
    ——————–
“Sometimes I get this message when I am in the WP area that shows your comments – for me it is the left side of the screen with all of the other folks who have commented. And those messages only show you a portion of the comment if it is too long. Then you have to go to see all or to the notifications to see the whole thing.

Anyway this is the message that I get:”

This is probably not the site you are looking for!

You attempted to reach seraphim6.me, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as*.wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version ofseraphim6.me.

You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

Proceed anyway Back to safetyHelp me understand

Is this someone who has access to the Dashboard of your site? This usually occurs when HTTPS access is enabled for the user. The SSL certificate is signed for WordPress.com, but since your domain seraphim6.me is the one that is being directly accessed by the browser, the browser can’t match the certificate to your site.

If the user is accessing your site from a fairly secure network (home/office, not coffee shop/library, etc) they could turn off HTTPS to get rid of the errors:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Otherwise, they can continue to bypass the errors. This is normal behavior, and isn’t something to be concerned about.

Thank you for your response. No, this person does not have access to the Dashboard of my site. She is a blog subscriber trying to leave a comment on a post I recently made.

After I posted this initial problem above, another subscriber mentioned when she clicked on my user name to leave a comment, a page came up saying “there is an error and my site is not available.”

    This does not sound normal.

I think her browser security subscriptions are just a little too tight.
