Warnings On The Top Of My Page – Empty Needle

  • Unknown's avatar

These warnings started appearing at the top of my website this morning.

The error messages are not visible when I’m logged into wordpress and working on my site.

When I log out of wordpress i can see the error messages at the top of the page. Also, every update i have made to my site since the errors started appearing are not visible.

I discovered that wp-seo was Yoast, but Deactivating/Deleting Yoast has had no effect.

Warning: include_once(/home4/paleridr44/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home4/paleridr44/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 305

    hi,

Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
    https://wordpress.org/support/

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/register.php

Your hosting provider customer support may also be able to help you.

    Hope this helps
